Scribble #6!
Hello! I had a lot of fun with this week’s scribble… it’s a bit more dynamic than usual, I think! The original scribble was made with a Tombow Fudenosuke fine tip brush pen, which I think is one of my favorite pens of all time. (Which, for me, is quite the prestigious category!) The drawings were done in Procreate, with one of my lovely brushes from a fantastic artist, Lisa Bardot.
First drawing of the day, a quick little crane/heron/longneck bird lookin’ thing! I really quite like him - I think it’s the enormous circle eyeball.
Next, I’ve drawn this chunky little beaver guy. He’s quite anatomically incorrect, but, you know, we support him.
Breaking out of our animal theme, we now have this glamorous lady, with her gravity-defying, Marilyn Monroe-esque skirt! I’m pretty sure that’s not how fabric works, but, as we know, it’s just a scribble. It doesn’t have to be perfect! The main thing is that you get the vibe, however odd and marshmallowy that may be.
Another black leotard and puffy skirt thing! I just find this combo really fun to draw. Very different vibes between these two illustrations, though!
Lastly, here’s a good-natured lumberjack grandpa.
That’s it for this week’s drawings, but I do have one extra announcement! We have our first submission from another scribbler! This was from week 4’s scribble, which you can check out here in case you’d like a reminder.
So without further ado, here’s our first scribble submission!
This beautiful fiddler was done by Jack Kline (my Grandpa)! I love the shading and use of line here. Thanks, Grandpa!
And with that, I wish you all good luck with this week’s scribble, should you choose to accept the challenge.
Thanks for reading!
